Scout the terrain around and between five waypoints provided to you by Elsa Herrera.  The position of the next waypoint is shown in the Mission Objectives.

Iron Challenge Mission Broker (Elsa Herrera)

"Colonist, do you have a minute? I am looking for someone who can scout this jungle.  Interested?"

Choices:

• Well, why not?
• Why don't you scout this area?
• No thanks.

If you choose "Why dont you scout this area?":

"I would, but I'm out of bug spray.  There are nasty alien insects everywhere; nasty little things that try to suck your blood or lay their eggs in you.  But for you it will be safe... I think."

Choices:

• I'm not afraid of insect.
• Lay eggs in you?
• ...I'll pass.

If you choose "Lay eggs in you?":

"Yes, there are these insects that bite you and inject their eggs under your skin, and then the eggs hatch and you get a colony of worms that feed on your muscle tissue.  They need proteins before they cocoon, and then the larvae metamorphose and hatch into new beings that crawl under your skin and mate and lay new eggs..."

Choices:

• In you?!! How can I be safe?
• In you?!! No way! How do I get out if (sic) here?

If you choose "In you?!! How can I be safe?":

"You have armor.  I hope.  YOu look like someone who would use armor.  And they can't bite through metal."

Choices:

• That's a relief.  What did you want me to do?
• Just to be on the safe side, how do I get to Fort Troy?

If you choose "That's a relief.  What did you want me to do?":

"Do? Oh sorry.  I got sidetracked there.  I"m looking for someone that can scout this jungle for some good locations for a hunt.  Would you be interested?"

Choices:

• Okay. I'll do it.
• Thanks but no.  I don't like bugs.

If you accept the mission:

"Thanks.  You can find instructions in your quest log."

 

On return to Elsa Herrera:

"Good, you have returned.  And alive too!  That's just great!

 

Now that we know the area, we can prepare for the hunt. If you're interested, you can join. All you need is a weapon."

On choosing "Please tell me more", receive 25 Nova Fragments, and get introduction to mission "Iron Challenge:100 Hiryuu"
