Dialog

Carl Tucker, Port Atlantis New Arrivals

You're one of them new immigrants, right?

  • Uh, yes.  I'm <Avatar Name>.

Carl Tucker. Pleased to meet you.

You're not one of them CARA people, right?

Choices:

  • CARA people?
  • No, I'm not.

If you choose 'CARA people?':

They're them animal rights people.  They got it all backwards - they just wanna protect anything that's cute and cuddly, but they care diddly-squat about what matters.

  • And what matters?

Well, I'm the game warden.  It's my job to keep a sustainable balance here.  That means that sometimes I got to protect species, but more often than that I got to cull populations of the cute and cuddly stuff that swamp the planet as the ugly beasts get killed bye them activists to protect the cuddly things.  Balance, friend.

And that's what the job is about, if you're interested.

  • I'm interested.

Just to cull teh newborn Puny Berycled, Tripudion and Caudatergus.  There's a small round lake just north of here, where they hatch.  Get up there, and kill off... say, 20 of them.  Then get back here.  There might be more work for you after that.

Choices:

  • Okay, I'm on it.
  • Thanks but no.

On return to Carl Tucker:

Good job, son. You may want to check that rifle of yours. If it's one of them Kiwio or Eucalypto, they break easily. An' if they break, the best thing you can do is to get a new weapon, perhaps a Kiwio Mk II.

When you're done, come back here, and I may have another job for you.

  • I'll be back.
