Port Atlantis Official

Hello colonist and welcome!  I am the Port Atlantis Official, I see you are fresh off the plane.  I think you might need some basic info on how to handle all the equipment you will obtain as a colonist on Calypso.

Choices:

  • Next: Inventory
  • No thanks, I'd rather go about in my own pace.

If you choose 'Next: Inventory':

Well you can start out by browsing your inventory.  Just press "I" and have a look in it.  You will have a few basic things from teh beginning; a PED card and some basic clothes.

  • Next: Storage Terminal

If the items in your inventory get too heavy, you can always drop them off in the  Storage Terminal. Many major cities have Storage Terminals.

  • Next: Repairing

You will also need to maintain your equipment.  As you use it, it will decay and eventually break.  Then you will have to repair it.  You can still use your equipment if it is decayed, but not if it is broken.  Note that unlimited armors will get less efficient as they decay.

  • Next: Equipment

You can buy them or find them while killing creatures.  You can also manufacture a lot of items.  But all that will be explained later.

  • Next: Find the equipment guide

Well, I think you should go visit the Equipment Guide for further info.  he is just up those stairs, inside the Equipment Building.  Just ask him for help.. he is a nice guy.  Maybe a bit sloppy, but nice.

  • Okay, thank you!
